Ventus X (IVKH and/or OVKH)
1.- Are units from Series A and B compatible? No.
2.- Are units with different capacities compatible? (e.g., an outdoor unit of 900 BTU and an indoor unit of 1200 BTU), No.
3.- Can I use the control from Multizone Ventus 19, Magnum or aurum on Ventus X? No.
4.- Do all units have WIFI? Only those from Series B have WIFI built-in. For Series A units, you can install a separate WIFI module, which needs to be purchased separately.
5.- Are there any issues with the App? Sometimes, on IOS, the equipment might not be recognized on the first attempt, but it works fine on Android.
6.- The App indicates that I have a WIFI problem. Why is that? The WIFI module only works with 2.4 GHz WIFI networks. It doesn't work with 5GHz networks.
7.- Can I use a thermostat with Ventus X? You cannot use a wired thermostat. Instead, you need one that uses the Smart Life app and WIFI(e.g., Alexa, Nest etc.), or an IR signal device.
8.- Are spare parts for Ventus X Series A and B compatible? In most cases no, but there are some exceptions.
9.- What comes whit the unit? line sets of 15 feet (1 pipe for gas and 1 pipe for liquid), 1 communication wire, a small drain hose.
10.- Do the unit come with additional refrigerant? Yes, it comes with a pre charge for 15 feet of line set.
11.-what is the minimun length in line set for a ventus X? For any ventus X the minimum length in line set is 10 ft less than that could damaged the compressor and/or make the unit produce loud and strange sounds.
12.- What is the App used for connecting to WIFI? SmartLife-SmartHome.
